Many water craft an fit inside a standard 40 ft steel container.  Many times you boat will fit right inside while still on its own trailer.  However, many times it does not fit on its own trailer and we must build a simple wooden cradle since the trailer is too large to fit.  Many people are amazed at the size of boat that we can fit into a 40 foot container. We build custom cradles for these larger boats.  They are very well braced and secured with soft packing fabric between the boat and any part of the cradle.  It really is an art form and not something that should be rushed or assembly lined together.  We take pride in our work and protecting your boat is our number one priority.

If the vessel does not fit in a 40 foot container, it can be brought to the port and lifted onto the deck of the container vessel.  There it is put in a temporary cradle welded to the boat deck and tied down for the trip. Another service we can provide is shrink wrapping for the voyage. It something we do in house so small items can be packed away in the boat prior to transport to the port.  Once it arrives at its destination, the vessel is lifted off the deck and put directly into the water or onto a waiting transportation trailer.  We handle all of the logistics for you.  You just tell us where you need to boat and on what time frame. 

As we get bigger boats our methods of transportation must adapt to them.  Some boats will be “floated on, floated off”, in a specialized ship that can lower its deck below sea level so mega yachts or sail boats can be floated into place, secured and then the deck is raised and the boats ride high and dry for the duration of the trip.

Lastly, we can arrange a crew to man your vessel and have it sailed to your destination.  Often this has to do with time frames more then anything else.  All crews are certified and insured.
