Shop USSA has been participating in the International Internship Program for many years now. We offer Dutch students the opportunity to add real world experience to their resume while providing them the opportunity to apply their scholastic knowledge and implement plans that can effect the direction of the company. They not only learn the ropes of international trade, marketing and logistics but also the inner workings of a single proprietor owned business such as accounting, inventory management and managing overhead. Our interns also get introduced to living abroad, many for the first time. They learn about managing money, finding a place to live, securing transportation and many other life skills that can only come with experience. Since Shop USSA is a family company, our interns join our family from day one and always have us as a safety net. Many of our interns have taken advantage of coming stateside and have gone up the east coast, experiencing Mardi Gras, the Rocky Mountains and many other once in a life time destinations. We encourage our interns to make the most of the time they have here and not only learn the job but experience America as well. We always learn from our interns and they always leave regretting they don’t have more time.
